Further development of the GK system
Greater flexibility
In order to offer our customers a more modern device channel system in the future, we have redesigned the channels and accessories and implemented a major change in the manufacturing process.
By investing in new manufacturing technology, we are now able to produce the channels more flexibly and with higher quality. The depths of 70 mm and 90 mm now required by the market have been implemented across all system products.
Installation instructions for device channels
Wall mounting
The device channels have a single row of horizontal mounting holes (7x33 mm) for easy and flexible wall mounting.
The GK base plates GKU 133, GKU 170 (shown in the picture) and GKU 220 are equipped with additional holes (7x33 mm) for wall mounting. During installation, make sure that the loop openings are facing upwards. To ensure that the cover fits securely, the cable retaining clips GKF must be inserted into the channel base at intervals of 0.6 m - 0.7 m.
More detailed installation instructions can be found here.
Ensuring potential equalization
Potential equalization is achieved via the GSVA joint coupler (shown in the picture) when these are electrically connected to the duct base. Two couplers are required per joint.
The GSVA coupler connects the device channel bases electrically and mechanically in a single step.
When using steel covers, the cover and channel base must be electrically connected; the GPK 63 potential equalization terminal is used for this purpose.
