The clever clamping solution

In a construction project, steel beams already provide a good basis for attaching cable tray systems. Support clamps offer a quick and cost-effective alternative to other types of clamp fastening that use this existing structure.

It is not only during installation that a great deal of time and thus costs are saved for the work involved. Beam clamps can be easily dismantled again, for example to replace beams or to adapt the entire cable support system to new conditions.

This ensures that the system remains flexible and cost-effective throughout its entire life cycle.

The WTK 150 wide span clamp was developed to provide this flexibility in our wide span and other cable tray systems.

The WTK 150 enables all of our wide span ladders and wide span trays, at all heights, and many other types of our cable tray systems to be attached to horizontally crossing beams.

Securely mount and fix the beam clamp

For mounting, the support clamp is simply pushed onto the desired point on the support and can then be screwed to the ladder or channel using the four elongated holes.

The WTK 150 prevents longitudinal movement of the support during mounting by means of an offset arrangement.

Variable length for secure mounting

The clamping range of 8 to 22 mm covers the majority of beams used in buildings. However, depending on the size, the space in the profile of the beam varies and the length of a support clamp can prevent safe installation.

That is why our WTK 150 has pre-scored break-off points so that the support clamp can be quickly shortened by hand and thus adapted for small beams.
