Standard Support Construction Of The Cable Tray RS

With the RS 60 cable tray installation system, we offer you the last installation type of the standard support construction, so that you can implement all installations required in the building project with circuit integrity maintenance on the basis of the standard support construction. Of course, the exact specifications and definitions of DIN 4102 Part 12 of November 1998, such as rail height, tray widths, hole proportion, material thickness, max. permissible cable dead weight and max. permissible fastening spacing, are fulfilled.

The classification as a standard support system allows the combination with any function maintenance cable/cable that has a valid general test certificate from the building authorities, which regulates the installation on standard support construction.

RS cable trays with an edge height of 60 mm are used in widths of 100 to 300 mm.

Ceiling mounting (The RS 60.100 OV - RS 60.300 OV as an example)

The couplers are made with two internal RVV 60 lug connectors and a RSLB base coupler.

TKS pendant brackets up to a length of 900 mm and TKS 150 to TKS 350 brackets or TKS 100 to TKS 300 brackets with KAWG 12 bracket adapter, HUF 50 or HDUF 50 pendant brackets up to a length of 1200 or 1500 mm and KTUG 100 to KTUG 300 cantilever brackets or KTA 100 to KTA 300 cantilever brackets with KAWG 12 bracket adapter, TKSUG support bracket or C-profile rail 2991/ pendant suspension are available for ceiling installation.

The back of the TKS profile must be stiffened with the spacer TKSD 20. The additional M10 threaded rod suspension is fixed directly to the ceiling or using ceiling bracket DBG 12. U-profiles and head plates are available for greater flexibility on site.

Any horizontal and/or vertical change of direction can be realized on site with the fittings and the connectors (from page). All changes of direction must be supported in the immediate vicinity of the joints (distance ≤ 150 mm) by an appropriate supporting structure.

Inclined cable trays with height differences can be attached to the KTAS cantilever bracket using KLAF 6 cable tray fastenings

Cable trays with a rail height of 60 mm, in widths of 100 to 300 mm (RS 60.100 OV - RS 60.300 OV) are used for ceiling and wall mounting. The cable trays are fastened to the cantilever brackets with 2 mushroom head bolts (FLM 6X12/FLM 6X16 F).

The threaded rod can also be fastened directly to the solid ceiling without the DBG 12 articulated ceiling bracket using fasteners that have been verified for fire protection.

The explanations and notes in the expert judgement report on standard supporting structures must be taken into account.

Wall mounting (example RS 60.100 OV - RS 60.300 OV)

TKS, KTAG or KTA cantilever brackets with KAWG 12 bracket adapter can be used for wall mounting. The additional M10 threaded rod suspension is attached directly to the ceiling or using ceiling bracket DBG 12. Alternatively, the threaded rod can be anchored to the wall at 45° using the bracket adapter WAWG 12 (cannot be used at the same time as KAWG 12).

With the KTAF 200 and KTAF 300 cantilever brackets, wall mounting can be carried out without an additional threaded rod.
