Whether false ceiling, complete façade or individual elements of a cable support system - the selection of the right product depends on various criteria: 

  • What substrate is available for installation? How thick is it? 
  • How high is the load per fastening element?  
  • Is it an application for functional integrity and do the elements to be installed have a corresponding approval? 
  • What are the corrosion protection requirements? 

 

Niedax offers the following product groups of fastening elements: Push-through anchors DAZ / DAM, nail anchors NA and screw anchors NSA for installation in concrete with European technical approval (ETA approval) for a fire resistance period of R 120.

The NHS wood screws with a fire resistance rating of F 30 or F 60 can be used to fasten the functional maintenance installation systems to load-bearing timber components. 

Mounting instructions

Even for a two-layer cable tray arrangement on both sides of the suspension bracket, each with a cable dead weight of 25 kg/m, the DAZ push-through anchor offers you sufficient load-bearing capacity for 90 minutes of fire exposure.  

Each of the metal expansion anchors and screw anchors can be used in non-cracked and cracked concrete. 

The push-through anchors DAZ. or DAM, nail anchors NA and the screw anchors NSA with fire resistance class ≤ R 120 are suitable for reinforced and unreinforced concrete C20/25 to C50/60 in accordance with EN 206. All anchor types and sizes are available in galvanized versions for use in dry indoor areas.  

For outdoor use, including in industrial atmospheres and near the sea, if there are no particularly aggressive conditions, through-hole anchors DAZ... E4 should be used. 

For functional integrity on load-bearing timber components, NHS wood screws with fire resistance class F30 or F60 in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12 are used.
