Fire - Resistant System Component
Cable penetration seals, strain relief and the necessary fastening elements are important components for ensuring preventive structural fire protection in buildings.
- Cable penetration seals ensure that the openings in walls or ceilings for the passage of electrical cables, cable support structures and electrical installation pipes are closed in such a way that the fire resistance of the component is restored.
- Strain reliefs are used for integrated circuit integrity maintenance as an effective support measure for vertical cable laying in accordance with DIN 4102 Part. This requires effective support of the cables at a maximum distance of 3.5 m. In the event of fire, the strain relief prevents the clamps from being directly exposed to fire. In addition, the weight of the cables is safely dissipated. The risk of cables tearing due to their own weight is prevented.
- Fastening elements are necessary for secure installation.
