This E30 - E90 circuit integrity maintenance installation system made of stainless steel of corrosion protection classes C II according to EN 1993-1-4 meets the needs of industries with increased hygiene requirements such as the beverage, food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries. A practice-oriented range of accessories of corrosion protection class C II enables fast and smooth installation in almost any structural situation.

The well-known advantages such as high loads, large fastening spacings and a wide range of cable manufacturers and types are self-evident.

Mounting instructions for a support span a ≤ 1,5 m Cable load q ≤ 10 kg/m

For this installation system for circuit integrity maintenance in E30 - E90 according to DIN 4102 Part 12, cable trays RLC... E3 with an rail height of 60 mm in widths of 100, 200 and 300 mm in stainless steel quality 1.4301 (E3) are used.

Ceiling mounting (The RLC 60.100 E3 OV - RLC 60.300 E3 OV as an example)

Two lengths are connected using the splice plate RVC 60/2 E3 and the joint bar RSLC ... E3, each with 4 mushroom-head bolts FLM 6X12 E3.

With the fittings and the connectors (from ), any horizontal and vertical changes of direction can be realised on site. All changes of direction must be supported by an appropriate supporting structure in the immediate vicinity of the joint (distance ≤ 150 mm).

For ceiling installations, TAH ... E3 ceiling suspension with suspension lengths of 200, 400 or 600 mm are available for cable trays of widths 100 - 300 mm in stainless steel quality 1.4301 (E3).

In the case of horizontal routing with height offsets, the cable tray running at an angle must be fastened to the bracket KTAW ... E3 using cable tray fasteners KLAF 6 E3. In doing so, the fastening plate of the KLAF 6 E3 can be adapted to any slope angle by bending it by hand.

To protect the cables, the cable tray ends must be provided with edge protection plate RKB ... E3. If RDV ... E3 covers and RTADV ... E3 and RESDV ... E3 fitting covers are used, the max. permissible cable weight must be reduced by the weight of the cover.

Wall mounting (The RLC 60.100 E3 OV - RLC 60.300 E3 OV as an example)

Cable trays with a rail height of 60 mm, in widths of 100 to 300 mm (RLC 60.100 E3 OV - RLC 60.300 E3 OV) are used for wall mounting. The connection of two cable trays RLC 60 is made via the splice plate RVC 60/2 E3 (per splice plate 2 FLM 6X12 E3) and the joint bar RSLC (4 FLM 6X12 E3). The cable trays are mounted on the brackets KTAW with 2 mushroom-head bolts (FLM 6X12 E3).

The designs and instructions can be found in the “German classification report for electric cable systems with circuit integrity maintenance” stainless steel installation system.

The joint connection is made using the two splice plates RVC 60/2 E3 and two mushroom-head bolts FLM 6X12 E3 each as well as the joint bar RSLC and four mushroom-head bolts FLM 6X12 E3.

Cover fastening

If RDV ... E3 covers and RTADV ... E3, RBADV ... E3, RESDV ... E3 and RTSDV ... E3 fitting covers are used, the max. permissible cable weight must be reduced by the weight of the cover.

Barrier strip assembly

To avoid overlapping of fire resistance cables and the general power supply in case of mixed installation, a barrier strip RW 60 E3 can be used.
