This installation system also offers you the advantages of high load-bearing capacity with a practice-oriented fastening spacing and cable laying without threading.
The MTC 54 wire mesh tray as well as the fittings can also be electrically and mechanically connected to each other when used in the circuit integrity maintenance with the help of the integrated connectors without further accessories. E30, E60 and E90 classified systems are available with the circuit integrity maintenance cables from Dätwyler, Eupen or Studer Cables AG.
Ceiling mounting (The MTC 54 as an example)
For this type of installation in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12 for circuit integrity maintenance classes E30 to E90, wire mesh trays with a rail height of 54 mm are used in widths of 100 to 400 mm.
Wire mesh cable trays with a rail height of 54 mm, in widths 100 to 400 mm (MTC 54.100 - MTC 54.400) are used for ceiling and wall installation. The wire mesh trays are fixed to the brackets with 2 hook bolts GRSM 6.
For ceiling installations, the HU 5050 or HU 6040 overhead hangers are available, or for greater flexibility on site, corresponding U-profiles and head plates.
The connection of two wire mesh cable trays MTC 54 is made by simply snapping them together using the welded-on connector lugs.
Alternatively, the suspensions for this installation system can also be made with HU 6040 overhead hanger, U6040 U-profile, KU 6040 head plate and HDS 60.40 overhead hanger-distance profile.
Wall mounting (The MTC 54 as an example)
Wire mesh cable trays with a rail height of 54 mm, in widths of 100 to 400 mm (MTC 54.100 - MTC 54.400) are used for ceiling and wall installation. The wire mesh cable trays are fixed to the brackets with 2 hook bolts GRSM 6.
The designs and instructions of the respective valid german classification report for electric cable systems with circuit integrity maintenance (abP) must be taken into account.
The connection of two lengths or a length and a fitting is made via the integrated connectors without additional components. Alternatively, cut mesh cable trays can be connected with the universal-splice plate GRHKM 6x15 (number and arrangement according to the integrated connector). The position of the joint is not tied to a specific position.
Alternatively, the suspensions for this installation system can also be made with HU 6040 overhead hanger, U6040 U-profile, KU 6040 head plate and HDS 60.40 overhead hanger-distance profile.
Cover fastening
If covers MTCC are used, the max. permissible cable weight must be reduced by the weight of the cover.
Barrier strip assembly
To avoid overlapping of fire resistance cables and the general power supply in case of mixed installation, a barrier strip RW can be used. This is fastened using the GRVC 14 barrier strip fastening clamp.
Horizontal and vertical changes of direction can be realised with the adjustable elbow MTCE 54 as well as the universal-splice plate GRHKM 6X15 and the joint connector GRGV. All changes of direction must be supported in the immediate vicinity of the joint (distance ≤ 150 mm) by an appropriate supporting structure.
In the case of horizontal routing with height offsets, the wire mesh tray must be fastened to the bracket KTAS using cable tray fasteners KLAF 6. The mounting plate of the KLAF 6 can be adapted to any angle of inclination by bending it by hand. To protect the cables, make sure that the longitudinal wires of the wire mesh trays are flush with the cross wire of the mesh cable tray end.
