Article description of cable bundlers
The cable bundlers is characterized by its high mechanical strength and is used for laying cable bundles on walls and ceilings. It enables quick fastening thanks to keyhole technology and is suitable for installation in corrosive environments and for use in the food industry.
The SHS 15 and SHS 30 cable bundlers supports are now also available in stainless steel E5. The SHS 80 cable bundler is still only available in a steel version.
Mounting instructions for SHS cable bundlers
The cable bundler has been partially approved without restriction of the cable cross-section for cable types (N)HXH, (N)HXCH and JE-(St)H in E30 and E90 according to DIN 4102-12.
They are characterised by practice-oriented fastening spacings ≤ 0.5 / 0.6 / 0.8 m and loads ≤ 3 / 6 kg/m. The large opening allows easy insertion of cables without threading. Once the cable has been fully inserted, simply close the cap. Rewiring is possible at any time.
In addition, they are suitable for installation above suspended false ceilings in accordance with the Model Cable System Directive (MLAR) (for fastening spacings and loads, see the fire protection assessments).
Mounting instructions for a Support span a ≤ 0,5/0,6/0,8 m Cable load q ≤ 3 resp. 6 kg/m
With this cable routing system for horizontal cable routing on walls and ceilings in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12 for circuit integrity maintenance classes E30 to E90, SHS cable bundlers are available in 3 sizes.
Ceiling and wall mounting (The SHS 15 and SHS 30 as an example)
Depending on the quantity of cable to be laid, the SHS 15 and SHS 30 cable bundlers can be used for a fastening spacing of a ≤ 600 mm and a cable dead weight of q ≤ 3 kg/m or the SHS 80 cable bundler for a fastening spacing of a ≤ 800 mm and a cable dead weight of q ≤ 6 kg/m.
The SHS cable bundlers have keyholes for fastening to the wall or ceiling, which eliminates the need to remove the pre-assembled nut and washer from the fastener.
The mounting of the cable bundlers is done with suitable and tested fasteners ≥ M6.
