The KFO KL cable ladder offers all the advantages such as high load capacity, standard fixing distance, cable routing without threading and E30 - E90 classifications with the functional maintenance cables from Dätwyler, Eupen or Studer Cables AG.
Mounting instructions for a support span a ≤ 1,5 m Cable load q ≤ 20 kg/m
For this cable-specific installation option according to DIN 4102 Part 12 for the circuit integrity maintenance classes E30 to E90, the cable ladder KL 60 with a rail height of 60 mm and a material thickness of 1.5 mm is used in the widths 200 to 400 mm.
To increase the support surface, these cable ladders have C-profile rungs of type 2970 at a distance of 150 mm. Type B U-bolt clamps can be used for cable fastening.
Ceiling mounting (The KL 60.215 - KL 60.415 as an example)
The joint connections are made with two KLVB 60/4 splice plates and 4 FLM 8X13 mushroom-head bolts each.
The position of the joint is not bound to a specific position. With angle connectors KWV 60 and joint connectors KGV 60, horizontal and vertical changes of direction can be realised on site.
All changes of direction must be supported in the immediate vicinity of the joint (distance ≤ 150 mm) by an appropriate supporting structure.
In the case of horizontal routing with height offsets, the cable ladder running at an angle must be fastened to the bracket KTAS using cable tray fasteners KLA 6. In doing so, the fastening plate of the KLA 6 can be adapted to any incline angle by bending it by hand.
For ceiling installations, the HU 5050 or HU 6040 overhead hangers are available, or for greater flexibility on site, corresponding U-profiles and head plates. When mounting the bracket KTAS on the overhead hangers or U-profile, the overhead hanger-distance profile HDS must be used.
Wall mounting (The KL 60.215 - KL 60.415 as an example)
Cable ladders with a side height of 60 mm, in widths 200 to 400 mm with a rung spacing of 150 mm (KL 60.215 - KL 60.415) are used for wall mounting. The cable ladders are fixed to the brackets with 2 cable ladder fastenings KLTB 6.
The designs and instructions of the respective valid german classification report for electric cable systems with circuit integrity maintenance (abP) must be taken into account.
The connection of two cable ladders KL 60 is made via the cable ladder longitudinal splice plate KLVB 60/4 with 4 mushroom-head bolts FLM 8X13 per splice plate.
To avoid overlapping of fire resistance cables and the general power supply in case of mixed installation, a barrier strip RW can be used. This is fastened in the rung using the KLWC 16 barrier strip fastening clamp.
